Per Whitacre, GM will continue with their plan to wind down Saab&#8217;s operations at this time.<\/p>\n<p>GM Chairman Ed Whitacre has confirmed his acceptance of the CEO position at GM, which was the primary focus of the 11:30 conference.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-34560\"><\/span>Sources in the Swedish media had reported cabinet meeting to discuss state guaranteed loans for Spyker\u2019s acquisition of Saab.
