Some websites make it nearly impossible to find any kind of contact information for reaching a real human. In that case, you can click over to a link that all are required to have but few customers ever read: their privacy policy.<\/p>\n

By law, any website that collects data from its users is required to post a privacy policy, and all privacy policies are required to display a physical address to send mail to.<\/p>\n

You can also then use that address in databases to track down other contact information associated with it, like a live phone number.<\/p>\n

“It’s a good way to find a physical address and one step in tracking down real, live humans to help with unresolved issues,” writes reader Terry. “Just one of my methods of finding a human who can get things done.”<\/p>\n
