Mmm-hmmm. Because Massachusetts, like the rest of the country, just can’t wait to turn the country back over to the GOP.<\/a><\/p>\n

GOP policies prove even less popular [than the Obama administration’s], with 58 percent of Massachusetts voters saying they are dissatisfied or angry about what Republicans in Congress are offering.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ouch. But surely MA was a referendum on Obama, right?<\/p>\n

Obama also remains popular in Massachusetts. More than six in 10 of those who voted approve of his job performance,<\/strong> with 92 percent of Coakley’s voters expressing satisfaction, along with 33 percent of Brown’s. More than half of Brown’s backers say Obama was not a factor in their vote.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Scott Brown won because the economy sucks and Democratic voters weren’t motivated to vote, for a variety of reasons.<\/p>\n

And despite Tanman’s daydreaming about holding Pelosi’s gavel, there is no evidence that Brown’s election indicates Americans are clamoring for the Tanman to return as Speaker of the House, any time soon.<\/p>\n
