An aide to Senator McCain has indicated<\/a> that his boss will not support a second term for Ben Bernanke, saying that McCain believes Bernanke “must be held accountable”.  Intrade still has Bernanke’s renomination chances at 93% as of this writing, but with the objections to his confirmation spreading towards the center on both sides of the aisle, I’d say they’re dimming by the minute.
