Tony Blair<\/a>\u2019s appearance at the Iraq<\/a> Inquiry will be a \u201cwaste of time\u201d, families of soldiers killed during the war have said.<\/p>\n

Relatives expressed disappointment at the multi-million pound hearing for failing to get tough enough with witnesses.<\/p>\n

The wife of Sergeant Steve Roberts, who was accidentally shot dead when UK<\/a> troops opened fire during a disturbance soon after the conflict began in March 2003, said the former Prime Minister would probably \u201csail through unscathed\u201d.<\/p>\n

Samantha Roberts, who attacked the Government<\/a> after it emerged Sergeant Roberts, of Shipley, West Yorkshire, was not provided with enhanced body armour, said of the Mr Blair\u2019s appearance: \u201cIt really does not make any difference to me now. What can Blair say that can possibly bring Steve back?<\/p>\n
