Jet planes taking off and landing create a whole load of noise pollution that has its significant effect on our eardrums. To get rid of this eardrum blaster, designer Hung-Uei Jou came up with what he lovingly named \u201cGreen Noise\u201d. The device makes sure the sound energy created by the airplane\u2019s engine does not go waste and instead captures it, converts it and then uses it to power up runway lights. This sure helps save up on lighting costs and at the same time gets rid of the din. The Green Noise is designed and shaped like a conical speaker-form that will also help endure the harshness of nature and everything else an airport runway has to go through. <\/p>\n<p>The device also stands on three feet and has a tripod design that enables easier maintenance.
