The app then did the necessary calculations to determine when she&#8217;d be most fertile. Just two months later, the couple had a little one on the way.<\/p>\n<p>Since the Telegraph story doesn&#8217;t name the app the couple used, we&#8217;ve gathered a few with similar functionality:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Fertility and Pregnancy Calculator<\/strong> [<a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/fertility-pregnancy-calculator\/id322948024?mt=8\">iTunes link<\/a>] Much like the app in the story, this one will help a woman determine when she&#8217;s most fertile. After that, she can use it to track Jr.&#8217;s development. Free.<\/li>\n<li><strong>iFertility<\/strong> [<a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/ifertility\/id308790586?mt=8\">iTunes link<\/a>] iFertility helps women track their <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Basal_body_temperature\">Basal Body Temperature<\/a> and adds an option to share logs with her doctor either via the app or email. $1.99<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fertility Foods<\/strong> [<a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/fertility-foods-optimize-ovulation\/id308713434?mt=8\">iTunes link<\/a>] This ebook for the iPhone and iPod touch by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vitals.com\/doctors\/Dr_Jeremy_Groll.html\">Dr. Jeremy Groll<\/a> presents a diet-based method of increasing ovulation and getting pregnant. Dr. Groll is an OB\/GYN specializing in the treatment of infertile couples. This book is an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icebergreader.com\/\">Iceburg Reader<\/a> book, which are very well done. $15.99<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/album\/20th-century-masters-the-millennium\/id3449417\">Barry White album<\/a> wouldn&#8217;t hurt, either.<\/p>\n<p>As a parent of toddlers, I get much use out of Pocket God [<a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/pocket-god\/id301387274?mt=8\">iTunes link<\/a>], which my 6-year-old loves, PicPosterous [<a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/picposterous\/id324621527?mt=8\">iTunes link<\/a>] for uploading snapshots to a family gallery and Pickin&#8217; Time [<a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/pickin-time\/id327232889?mt=8\">iTunes link<\/a>], which both the 6-year-old and 5-year-old love. We even used Ambiance [<a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/ambiance\/id285538312?mt=8\">iTunes link<\/a>] for my son when we left his white noise machine at home while on vacation.<\/p>\n<p>Last week an iPhone app <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tuaw.com\/2010\/01\/20\/earthquake-survivor-says-iphone-helped-save-his-life\/\">helped save a life<\/a>, and this week it helped create one.
