Currently I take 1000mg Metformin 2x and Glyburide 5mg x2. Today my Dr said my A1c was 8.5% \ud83d\ude41 . Not good (it&#8217;s usually in the 6% area) He said I should 1) watch my diet, and 2) start Januvia. <\/p>\n<p>I will try this med for 30 days and watch my dailies.  I tried Byetta about a year ago but the nausea was way too much&#8230;plus the black and blue puncture sites.
