In 2007, Apple launched the iPhone ahead of its earnings report, so it will be interesting to see how the dynamics play out here.<\/p>\n<p>Also of interest, other big tech stocks such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.financialpost.com\/markets\/company\/index.html?symbol=IBM&amp;id=1551887\" >IBM<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.financialpost.com\/markets\/company\/index.html?symbol=GOOG&amp;id=10390991\" >Google<\/a> are down between 6% and 7% since their latest reports, Mr. Rueckert noted.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:erlam@nationalpost.com\">Eric Lam<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/network.nationalpost.com\/np\/aggbug.aspx?PostID=386042\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Analysts covering Apple Inc. have settled into a bit of a routine when forecasting earnings reports for the tech giant.
