I typically take very short and relatively cold showers as I have fairly bad <a href=\"http:\/\/allergies.about.com\/od\/urticariahives\/a\/dermatographism.htm\" >dermatographism<\/a> after showers.  However, today I had to do some major hair removal so it had to be a longer shower.<\/p>\n<p>When I was almost done with the shower I started feeling sweaty and very dizzy.  I usually get dizzy when I&#8217;m in the shower longer than usual, so again, not concerned.<\/p>\n<p>A few seconds passed and the dizziness became overwhelming.  I turned the water and got out, expecting to instantly feel better when out of the shower, like normal.<\/p>\n<p>Instead my vision went black and I felt a feeling go from my gut to my head with an overwhelming desire to pass out.  I leaned against the wall and sat down.  I couldn&#8217;t breath.  <\/p>\n<p>I was still naked by just had to open the door and breath.   I was able to get to my bedroom and test and was only 50.  I expected to be 20 something, though it almost felt like a panic attack more than hypoglycemia.<\/p>\n<p>I had some jelly beans and feel better already, but geesh, scary.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I haven&#8217;t had a bad low in a really long time, so I should have known I was due.
