Christopher Shays to run for governor &#8211; saying there is a vacuum in the race because the two former frontrunners,&nbsp;Gov. M. Jodi Rell and Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz, have decided not to run.<\/p>\n<p>The first problem is that Shays sold his upscale home in Bridgeport &#8211; previously owned by People&#8217;s Bank executive David Carson &#8211; and is now working in the Washington, D.C. area.
