{"id":232344,"date":"2010-01-26T15:21:01","date_gmt":"2010-01-26T20:21:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greenenergyreporter.com\/?p=5850"},"modified":"2010-01-26T15:21:01","modified_gmt":"2010-01-26T20:21:01","slug":"duke-enters-solar-biz-buys-14-mw-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/232344","title":{"rendered":"Duke Enters Solar Biz, Buys 14 MW Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greenenergyreporter.com\/wp-content\/themes\/v1\/img\/cat\/solar.png\" width=\"8\" height=\"8\" alt=\"\" title=\"Solar\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.treehugger.com\/20090824-liberose-solar-park.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"164\" height=\"109\" \/>Duke Energy Generation Services (DEGS) has purchased the 14 megawatts Blue Wing Solar Project, marking the Charlotte, N.C. company&#8217;s entry into the solar generation business. <span id=\"more-5850\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>DEGS is buying the project from the U.S. unit of\u00a0juwi Solar, the German developer.<\/p>\n<p>The 139-acre project, located near San Antonio, Texas, is expected to go live at the end of the year, according to DEGS.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Wing&#8217;s total output is backed by a 30-year power purchase agreement with San Antonio-based CPS Energy.<\/p>\n<p>Back in October DEGS forged a partnership with China&#8217;s ENN Group to grow its solar generation portfolio.
