The new trailer (above) shows off the familiar <a href=\"http:\/\/www.1up.com\/do\/gameOverview?cId=3165887\" title=\"Gears of War 2\">Gears of War<\/a> characters Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago making a cameo in the Xbox 360 version of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.1up.com\/do\/gameOverview?cId=3170400\" title=\"Lost Planet 2\">Lost Planet 2<\/a>. This means you can swap your insect-fighting space marines for grub-fighting space marines, making this the most lateral cross-promotional move since <em>The Flintstones Meet the Jetsons<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As revealed last night, the game is due out on May 18. In the meantime, we&#8217;ll see what Capcom and Epic have to say about this unlikely partnership, and if any similar cross-game cameos are coming for the PlayStation 3 version.
