\nFoundation Center’s reports on corporate foundations are highlighted in
\nthe slide show<\/a>,
\n“America’s Most Generous Corporate Foundations”. Steven Lawrence,
\nsenior director for research at the Foundation Center, is quoted in the
\narticle regarding the state of corporate foundation giving: “‘Corporate
\nphilanthropy is a bellwether for the economy,’ says Lawrence. Depending
\non how the markets perform, ‘We may see a faster return among corporate
