{"id":233287,"date":"2010-01-26T11:44:57","date_gmt":"2010-01-26T16:44:57","guid":{"rendered":"tag:typepad.com,2003:post-6a00d8341c5fcf53ef012877150e31970c"},"modified":"2010-01-26T11:44:57","modified_gmt":"2010-01-26T16:44:57","slug":"topanga-detectives-investigate-two-theft-suspects-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/233287","title":{"rendered":"Topanga Detectives Investigate Two Theft Suspects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">Los Angeles:<\/span>\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Topanga Area Detectives is<br \/>\nasking for the public\u2019s help in identifying two theft suspects<br \/>\nregarding two separate crimes involving the same department store.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn December 8, 2009, at around 4:30 p.m., a theft occurred in the 19700<br \/>\nblock of Vanowen Street.\u00a0 Two suspects entered the department store.\u00a0<br \/>\nOnce inside, the suspects filled a shopping cart with the merchandise<br \/>\nand left the department store without paying for the items. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\nAbout a month later, on January 16, 2010, at around 7:10 p.m., the same<br \/>\nsuspects returned to the same department store and filled a shopping<br \/>\ncart with merchandise.\u00a0 Once again both suspects left the store without<br \/>\npaying for the items.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"left\" alt=\"\" border=\"1\" hspace=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lapdonline.org\/assets\/jpeg\/1-25-2010%20Topanga%20Theft%20%281%29.jpg\" style=\"width: 114px; height: 133px;\" vspace=\"1\"><\/img>The<br \/>\nfirst suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, bald, 5\u20199\u201d tall,<br \/>\nweighing 210 pounds.\u00a0 In December he was seen in with a goatee, wearing<br \/>\na black shirt and black pants.\u00a0 In January he was seen with a mustache<br \/>\nand wearing a \u201cDodger\u201d blue thermal with white lettering \u201cLA\u201d on the<br \/>\nupper left portion of the shirt.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe second suspect is described as a male, 5\u20196\u201d tall, weighing 170<br \/>\npounds.\u00a0 He was last seeing wearing a multi-colored dark cap, black<br \/>\nshirt and black pants.<\/p>\n<p><\/br><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" align=\"left\" alt=\"\" border=\"1\" hspace=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lapdonline.org\/assets\/jpeg\/1-25-2010%20Topanga%20Theft%20%282%29.jpg\" style=\"width: 117px; height: 111px;\" vspace=\"1\"><\/img>Photographs of the suspects are available through Media Relations Section at 213-486-5910.<\/p>\n<p>\nAnyone with information is urged to call Topanga burglary detectives at<br \/>\n818-756-5850.\u00a0 During non-business hours, call 1-877-LAPD-24-7.\u00a0 Anyone<br \/>\nwishing to remain anonymous may call Crimestoppers at 800-222-TIPS<br \/>\n(800-222-8477).\u00a0 Tipsters may contact Crimestoppers by texting the<br \/>\nnumber 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.
