We can\u2019t think what the SEC\u2019s statutory authority would be to regulate in this area.  As far as we know, there are no climate scientists working at the SEC.  <\/p>\n<p>Ranking Member\u2019s Barton and Walden thought they would ask the SEC Chairman for some context to this unusual foray into environmental science and energy policy by the SEC.<\/p>\n<p>We thought you might like to see their questions.<\/p>\n<p>Best, David L.
