AGW theory is toast<\/a>. So\u2019s Dr Rajendra Pachauri. So\u2019s the Stern Review. So\u2019s the credibility of the IPCC. But if you think I\u2019m cheered by this you\u2019re very much mistaken. I\u2019m trying to write a Climategate book but the way things are going by the time I\u2019m finished there won\u2019t be anything left to say: the battle will already have been won and the only people left who still believe in Man Made Global Warming<\/a> will be the eco-loon equivalents of those wartime Japanese soldiers left abandoned and forgotten on remote Pacific atolls.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the latest development, courtesy of Dr Richard North<\/a> \u2013 and it\u2019s a cracker. It seems that, not content with having lied to us<\/a> about shrinking glaciers, increasing hurricanes, and rising sea levels, the IPCC\u2019s latest assessment report also told us<\/a> a complete load of porkies about the danger posed by climate change<\/a> to the Amazon rainforest.<\/p>\n

This is to be found in Chapter 13 of the Working Group II report, the same part of the IPCC fourth assessment report in which the \u201cGlaciergate\u201d claims are made. There, is the startling claim<\/a> that:<\/p>\n
