Last week, General Motors\u2019 vice chairman in charge of global product operations, Tom Stephens, told PickupTrucks.com<\/em> that he would like to challenge Ford in a tug of war matchup<\/a> involving the two company’s Chevrolet and GMC Heavy Duty and Ford\u2019s 2011 F-Series Super Duty.<\/p>\n

GM on Tuesday confirmed that it is all game for the challenge and Ford responded\u00a0today via Twitter.<\/p>\n

When asked whether or not Ford will “accept GM’s challenge with PickupTruck.com”, @Ford<\/a> and @FordTrucks<\/a> replied: “We typically don’t respond to challenges. We let the vehicles speak for themselves.”<\/p>\n
