This is what happens when you teach system dynamics to young boys:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.metasd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/farting.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-793\" title=\"dynamics of flatulence\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.metasd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/farting-500x261.png\" alt=\"dynamics of flatulence\" width=\"500\" height=\"261\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Notice that there&#8217;s no outflow for the unpleasantries, because they couldn&#8217;t agree on whether the uptake mechanism was chemical reaction or physical transport.<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, we made a process observation. We started off quiet, but gradually talked louder and louder until we were practically shouting at each other.
