Arnold Schwarzenegger unveiled a plan to give cities<br \/>\nand counties the green light to install <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2010\/jan\/09\/local\/la-me-budget-cameras9-2010jan09\">speed sensors on red-light cameras <\/a>to catch &#8212; and ticket &#8212; speeding cars. Those whizzing<br \/>\nby the radar-equipped detectors at up to 15 mph over the limit would<br \/>\nhave to pay $225 per violation. Those going faster would be fined $325. The state estimated it would generate $337.9 million through June 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Now, Rick Orlov is reporting that <span id=\"RDS_Site\">Los Angeles &quot;is quietly seeking a change in state law that<br \/>\nwould allow the Department of Transportation to put the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailynews.com\/news\/ci_14260228\">Denver boot on<br \/>\ncars that have three outstanding tickets<\/a> instead of the five now<br \/>\nrequired.&quot; This could generate $61 million in revenues for the city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"RDS_Site\">What do you think?
