If the U.S. Supreme Court finds that statute unconstitutional in<br \/>\nthe next few months, Blagojevich&#8217;s trial could have been delayed from<br \/>\nbeginning next summer.<\/p>\n<p>The high court has signaled it has issues with the government&#8217;s use<br \/>\nof the law, which criminalizes activity that deprives the public of its<br \/>\nintangible right to the honest services of elected officials.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Blagojevich<br \/>\nis set to stand trial starting June 3 on charges he conspired to sell<br \/>\nthe U.S. Senate seat vacated by President Barack Obama and took other<br \/>\nactions to improperly profit from his office.
