{"id":240406,"date":"2010-01-28T05:23:22","date_gmt":"2010-01-28T10:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"tag:www.vegan-food.net:\/\/6d6660b2993715893d7828023fc89e03"},"modified":"2010-01-28T05:23:22","modified_gmt":"2010-01-28T10:23:22","slug":"jerk-tofu-soy-tofu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/240406","title":{"rendered":"Jerk Tofu( Soy &#8211; Tofu )"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Daily Random Recipe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/4 cup apple or papaya juice<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons grated onion<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons chillies, minced (the spicier the better)<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon oil<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 teaspoon allspice<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon black pepper<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon thyme<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon nutmeg<\/li>\n<li>450 grams \/ 1 pound tofu, frozen, thawed, excess water squeezed out and cut into 2.5 centimeter \/ 1 inch cubes<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup chopped spring onions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p \/><strong>METHOD:<\/strong><br \/>Combine all the ingredients together (except the spring onions and tofu) in a blender.<\/p>\n<p \/>\nArrange tofu cubes into one layer in a glass baking pan. Pour the blended mixture over the tofu. Lightly press sauce into the tofu with a spatula or hands. Let marinate for a few hours or overnight.<\/p>\n<p \/>\nPreheat oven to broil. Broil about 5 minutes, turn the tofu and broil 5 more minutes.
