Anti-terror police raided two homes in Birmingham today, arresting a 30-year-old man for possessing terrorist material.<\/p>\n

The operation in the early hours targeted the man\u2019s home in the Sparkhill area of the city.<\/p>\n

Computer equipment was also seized from a second address less than two miles away in the Kings Heath suburb.<\/p>\n

West Midlands police said forensic teams and unarmed officers from the Counter Terrorism<\/a> Unit were involved in both raids.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old is now being questioned on suspicion of possessing material likely to be of use to a terrorist and of distributing terrorist publications.<\/p>\n
