‘Seemingly already damaged beyond
\nrepair, the prospect for peace talks took another hit today when
\nIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared portions of the
\noccupied West Bank \u201ceternally\u201d part of Israel<\/a>.<\/font><\/p>\n

Attending a tree-planting ceremony in
\none of the settlements, Netanyahu proclaimed that \u201cwe are
\nplanting here, we will stay here, we will build here, this place will
\nbe an inseparable part of the state of Israel<\/a> for eternity.\u201d He
\nadded that the settlements were part of \u201csovereign Jerusalem”.’<\/font><\/p>\n
