{"id":245763,"date":"2010-01-29T08:43:51","date_gmt":"2010-01-29T13:43:51","guid":{"rendered":"Gizmodo-5459531"},"modified":"2010-01-29T08:43:51","modified_gmt":"2010-01-29T13:43:51","slug":"intel-and-amd-six-core-processor-roadmaps-leaked-rumor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/245763","title":{"rendered":"Intel and AMD Six-Core Processor Roadmaps Leaked [Rumor]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitimes.com\/news\/a20100129PD216.html\">DigiTimes<\/a>, we&#8217;ll be seeing both AMD Thuban and Intel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gizmodo.com\/tag\/gulftown\">Gulftown<\/a> six-core desktop processors hitting in just a few short months. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s all from anonymous sources, but at least on the Intel side the information matches up with <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5414644\/leaked-intel-roadmap-reveals-budget-desktop-offerings-possible-mac-pro-chip\">what we&#8217;ve seen previously<\/a>. Gulftown (aka the <a class=\"autolink\" title=\"Click here to read more posts tagged #corei7980x\" title=\"Click here to read more posts tagged #corei7980x\" href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/tag\/corei7980x\/\">Core i7-980X<\/a>) will apparently be available as early as this March, although at a hefty $1,000 or more per chip. Gulftown is also rumored to be <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5426869\/details-leak-on-the-next-mac-pro-processor\">the processor for the next Mac Pro<\/a>, so it&#8217;s encouraging to see it nearly ready to debut. <\/p>\n<p>On the AMD side, you&#8217;ll have to wait a little longer. According to DigiTimes, the Phenom II X6 1075T, 1055T and 1035T, all 45nm process chips, will be available in May.
