Nicole Richie strikes back the eating disorder rumors that plagued her during her tenure on the defunct reality smash <em>The Simple Life<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Nicole-Richie-Marie-Claire-UK-Cover-Photo-March-2010.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Nicole Richie Marie Claire UK Cover Photo March 2010\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-90989\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don\u2019t,\u201d<\/em> the former <em>Simple Life<\/em> star told the mag. <em>\u201cIt\u2019s extremely insulting and irresponsible.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>She added, <em>\u201cThe only time it bothered me was when I was in a store trying on shoes and these girls came up to me \u2014 they were probably like 13 or 14 \u2014 and their mother came over, and she said, \u2018Are you taking care of yourself, because my girls think that you\u2019re not,\u2019\u201d she told the mag. \u201cThat was upsetting.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a
