What a volatile day (and week!). <\/p>\n

First, the Dow goes soaring up over 100 points, only to flop at 10:30 AM and continue to sink until losing 54 points to close at 10,067. <\/p>\n

Again, I’ll repeat: are we about to see a 9000 point Dow?<\/p>\n

The NASDAQ tumbled 1.4% to close at 2148 and the S&P 500 lost 10 points to finish at 1074.<\/p>\n

And the selling didn’t stop there. Tech truly got slammed today, with Apple (AAPL), Rambus (RMBS), and SanDisk (SNDK) all taking major haircuts. Goldman Sachs (GS) continues its free fall, losing 2.5% today alone.<\/p>\n

The Swiss Franc began to collapse earlier in the day but has since recovered slightly. A brief scare for many.<\/p>\n

And just when you though commodities were safe, you looked at your chart and cringed. Oil is around $73 a barrel, down 1.2%. Gold is down $2.30 to $1082. Silver is floating around the break even point but is down two cent currently.<\/p>\n

The days of the 2009 rally are clearly long gone.<\/p>\n
