The SEC\u2019s new guidance requires companies to consider the risks and opportunities that climate change may present to their business \u2013 from potential legislation to severe weather patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Within EDF&#039;s <a rel=\"nofollow\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.edf.org\/page.cfm?tagID=56\">Corporate Partnerships Program<\/a>, we believe that this type of transparency is critical in our efforts to improve corporate environmental performance.
