When I asked the salesman what utility the gear lock has when the car already has an immobilizer, he couldn&#8217;t come up with any convincing reasons. He said the gear lock would make the car un-towable, to which I was worried that if someone is towing the car anyway, they wouldn&#8217;t care if it&#8217;s towable or not. They&#8217;ll just drag the thing away, and possibly damaging the car in the process.<\/p>\n<p>I thought that I&#8217;ll consult with the Team-BHP forum before I get the gear lock. So, T-BHP members, what do you say? Should I get a gear lock or not?
