The nearly-fatal attack took place at the Empress Motel on Martin Luther King Street, where the couple had been living.<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000\" width=\"500\" height=\"320\" id=\"Redlasso\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/player.redlasso.com\/redlasso_player_b1b_deploy.swf\" \/><param name=\"flashvars\" value=\"embedId=a50ff349-9e6a-490c-a65f-f936329e43e0&#038;pid=undefined\" \/><param name=\"allowScriptAccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed src=\"http:\/\/player.redlasso.com\/redlasso_player_b1b_deploy.swf\" flashvars=\"embedId=a50ff349-9e6a-490c-a65f-f936329e43e0&#038;pid=undefined\" width=\"500\" height=\"320\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowScriptAccess=\"always\" allowFullScreen=\"true\" name=\"Redlasso\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-91213\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cops said the couple was watching <em>American Idol<\/em> on Tuesday night when they began arguing over something that happened on the show. That&#8217;s when Johnson changed the channel to stop the argument, before retiring to bed.
