The eco-friendly abode has been developed using sustainable materials and its unique design allows for maximum energy savings. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/02\/01\/bridge-house_2_YJ4nT_69.jpg\" alt=\"bridge house_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.architecture.com.au\/awards_search?option=showaward&#038;entryno=2009051974\">Bridge House<\/a> makes use of locally sourced sustainable materials for construction and harvests solar energy for power and hot water. All excess energy is sold back to the grid, making the house a carbon neutral dwelling.
