Miley Cyrus is joining efforts to help the victims of last month’s ravaging earthquake in Haiti — the teen sensation is raising money by selling the dress she wore to Sunday night’s 52nd Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n

The 17-year-old stepped out on the Grammy red carpet in Los Angeles Sunday night wearing a teal-colored frock designed by Herve Leger. As stunning as it was, she’s decided to put up the gown for sale as part of an internet auction launching on eBay.com later this week. <\/p>\n

Miley says she’s ben deeply moved by the massive tremor that devastated the already impoverished island nation on Jan. 12 and is also joining Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie’s re-recording of the 1985 classic “We Are The World.”<\/p>\n

She tells USA Today: “I’m going to auction it (the dress) off on eBay for the Red Cross. It’s the little things you can do. I think it’s really important that everybody come (sic) together because disaster relief isn’t just now. It’s how we’re going to help years from now. We have to restore an entire place. It just can’t be one person, one foundation, one group of people. All people have to come together.”<\/em><\/p>\n
