The suspects&#8217; car crashed near the Americana at Brand shopping and residential development, and two suspects were apprehended at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>But the third got away, at least temporarily, with some fancy footwork.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect, who police said was armed with a handgun, eluded the tackle of one officer and then slid\u00a0 across the hood of a patrol vehicle to get away from another.\u00a0He then sprinted down the street, pulling away from a pursuing officers. <\/p>\n<p>Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said his department is providing tactical support, including a SWAT team and police dogs, for Burbank, which is the lead agency.
