{"id":267153,"date":"2010-02-02T10:50:00","date_gmt":"2010-02-02T15:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"e2249889-c78b-43e3-9643-b1d7d4aa587b:390119"},"modified":"2010-02-02T10:50:00","modified_gmt":"2010-02-02T15:50:00","slug":"dragonwave-need-not-worry-about-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/267153","title":{"rendered":"DragonWave need not worry about competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Israeli competitor appears to have taken a chunk out of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.financialpost.com\/markets\/company\/index.html?symbol=DWI&amp;id=17507867\" >DragonWave Inc.<\/a>&#39;s business with U.S. high-speed Internet provider <a href=\"http:\/\/www.financialpost.com\/markets\/company\/index.html?symbol=CLWR&amp;id=26331285\" >Clearwire Corp.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.financialpost.com\/markets\/company\/index.html?symbol=CRNT&amp;id=638164\" >Ceragon Networks Ltd.<\/a>, a wireless Internet technology provider based in Tel Aviv, picked up total revenues of US$53.4-million in their fourth quarter, Kris Thompson with National Bank Financial said in a note.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We believe Clearwire was a 10% customer for Ceragon in the fourth quarter, however, Ceragon did not suggest this level of revenue should be expected in subsequent quarters,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>While Ceragon expects 2010 revenues in the the range of US$239-million to US$248-million, the company sees the Asia-Pacific market as its primary revenue driver.<\/p>\n<p>As for DragonWave, Ceragon may be considered an &quot;important competitor&quot; but Mr. Thompson maintains an Outperform rating and C$17 target price for the well-regarded Canadian company.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Ceragon does not appear to be a major threat to displace DragonWave at Clearwire over the near-term,&quot; he said. &quot;The main investor concern is and should be customer concentration with Clearwire.&quot; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:erlam@nationalpost.com\">Eric Lam<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/network.nationalpost.com\/np\/aggbug.aspx?PostID=390119\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Israeli competitor appears to have taken a chunk out of DragonWave Inc.&#39;s business with U.S. high-speed Internet provider Clearwire Corp.
