After doing some investigating, it&#8217;s not the house used for the opening credits. Rather, it is speculated that the home at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/homedetails\/birds-eye-view-map\/15083084_zpid\/#street-view\">1709 Broderick St, San Francisco\u00a0 CA 94115<\/a> is the real house used in Full House&#8217;s opening credits. Judge for yourself: Here is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MO5oDScu4ps\">YouTube video of Full House&#8217;s opening credits<\/a> (the home&#8217;s front door is briefly seen around the 1:17 mark), but as the camera pans out, you can see the home is among those on Broderick Street and not Steiner. Apologies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/blog\/files\/2010\/02\/full-house-correction.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17357\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/blog\/files\/2010\/02\/full-house-correction.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"255\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/blog\/files\/2010\/02\/full-house-dvd-box.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-17318\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/blog\/files\/2010\/02\/full-house-dvd-box.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"248\" \/><\/a><strong>Original post<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a TV child of the 80s and have tuned into &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Full_House\">Full House<\/a>,&#8221; you&#8217;ll immediately recognize the gorgeous Victorian that appears in the opening credits of the show.<\/p>\n<p>Known as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shannon-kavanaugh.com\/\">Shannon-Kavanaugh house<\/a>, it&#8217;s located on a corner lot at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/homedetails\/722-Steiner-St-San-Francisco-CA-94117\/15078282_zpid\/\">722 Steiner St, San Francisco,\u00a0 CA 94117<\/a> and is among other <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Painted_Ladies\">&#8220;Painted Ladies&#8221;<\/a> along Postcard Row, just across from Alamo Square in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/homes\/for_sale\/San-Francisco-CA\/\">San Francisco<\/a>. The home, which was built in 1900, is for sale for $4 million and is listed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bonniespindler.com\/\">Victorian specialist Bonnie Spindler.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>NBCBayArea.com reports that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcbayarea.com\/news\/local-beat\/Full-House-Victorian-on-Sale-for-4-Million-83208902.html\">722 Steiner was never used for production<\/a> of the TV series since it was filmed on a Warner Bros. lot in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/homes\/for_sale\/Burbank-CA\/\">Burbank, CA<\/a>.
