Healthcare attorney, Charles F. MacKelvie<\/span>, has joined the Chicago<\/span> office of McDonald Hopkins LLC as a Member in the firm’s national Healthcare and Healthcare Restructuring Practice Groups, which provide legal services to a diverse group of healthcare clients throughout the United States<\/span>.<\/p>\n

MacKelvie, who has more than 30 years of experience as a healthcare and business attorney, is a legal expert in Medicare and Medicaid payment issues. <\/span><\/p>\n

Before joining McDonald Hopkins, MacKelvie was a principal at the Miller Canfield law firm.<\/p>\n

MacKelvie has argued more than 300 cases before the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Provider Reimbursement Review Board.<\/p>\n

In addition, MacKelvie has been general and special counsel to a variety of hospitals, health systems, health agencies, long-term care facilities, home health organizations, and physician groups.<\/p>\n

Beyond Medicare and Medicaid payment consulting, MacKelvie advises clients concerning mergers, acquisitions, corporate taxation, and not-for-profit taxation.<\/p>\n

He is a national speaker, teacher and author on the legal and financial issues that impact hospitals, healthcare systems and alternate delivery systems.<\/p>\n
