Why has it taken fast food joints so long to figure this one out? At Burger King’s new “Whopper Bar” in South Beach you can order a beer along with your burger and fries.<\/p>\n

The Burger King will be offering <\/span>Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors to South Beach partiers as part of a pilot program. If it catches on Burger King will expand the Whopper Bar to places where tourists congregate like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York.<\/p>\n

The beer is served in a specially designed aluminum bottle and costs $4.25. But fear not – if you get the value meal it’s only 2 bucks. While beer in fast food restaurants in Europe is fairly common, this is a first in the U.S. I say it’s about time!<\/p>\n
