An engine plant in Bielsko-Biala<span class=\"serendipity_searchQuery\">, Poland, has been jointly owned by GM and Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT). FPT has reached an agreement with GM to buy out the American company&#8217;s stake.<\/p>\n<p>The plant builds the 1.3-liter Multijet diesel four cylinder that is used in an array of vehicles from both companies including the Opel Corsa and Astra and Fiat 500 and Punto.<\/p>\n<p>The plant will continue building the same engine under Fiat management and GM will continue using the engine. No purchase price has been revealed for GM&#8217;s stake.
