Young is the chairman of Cambridge, MA-based Biogen Idec (NASDAQ: <a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=BIIB\">BIIB<\/a>]), and formerly was chairman and CEO of Monogram Biosciences, and chief operating officer of Genentech.
