Ltd. for patented technology covering the use of deuterium in semiconductor devices. The IP provides a solution to hot-carrier effects, which are known to cause problems with device reliability. The agreement allows Samsung to use the technology for semiconductor devices through the lifetime of the patents. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.
