What will the floor look like by then?<\/p>\n Toyota.com also says: “The shape of the accelerator pedal will be reconfigured to address the risk of floor mat entrapment.” Some models will also receive a brake override system.<\/p>\n So, like many consumers, I’m left with a vehicle that scares me, and I’ll get a fix “on a rolling basis.” Toyota issued a safety advisory regarding the floor mats in September of 2009.
