Ouch.<\/p>\n<p>Metlife is having a bad week.<\/p>\n<p>First, it reported fourth-quarter revenue of $12.34 billion vs. the Street consensus of $12.56 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Second, talks popped up that Metlife <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/metlife-in-talks-with-aig-for-insurance-unit-2010-2\">would possibly acquire<\/a> AIG&#8217;s American Life insurance subsidiary.
