Vying to the the toughest guy in the world, about 4,600 men braved sub-freezing conditions to tackle an obstacle course in England that is billed as the world’s most dangerous. On January 31st competitors from 25 countries took part in the 24th annual Tough Guy challenge in Perton, Staffordshire, England and it’s a killer.<\/p>\n

The Tough Guy challenge calls itself the “most dangerous <\/span>taste of mental and physical pain, fear and endurance.”<\/p>\n

Over an eight mile course participants have to get over, under, and through freezing lakes, electric prods, mud, barbed wire, and fire. Challengers start with a cross-country run and then have to get through 21 different obstacles including underwater tunnels and electric fences.<\/p>\n

Participants must sign a “Death Warrant disclaimer” before entering the race. The course is so hard that about 600 guys dropped out of the competition before the finish.<\/p>\n
