The movie is directed by Kenyan Wanuri Kahiu and was produced by the folks who help bring to life Alive in Joburg &#8211; the movie that inspired District 9. The plot takes elements of the post apocalypse and imagines a dystopian future 35 years after the &#8220;water wars&#8221; have ravaged the earth. Inside a contained community however, are Eastern African survivors experimenting on ways to revive earth&#8217;s ecological mess.
