The International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement and the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis are pleased to invite you to the 2010 IARSLCE conference, to be held on October 28-31, 2010, in Indianapolis, IN.<\/p>\n
The featured theme for this 10th annual conference is \u201cInternational Perspectives: Crossing Boundaries through Research.\u201d Service-learning is valued as an active learning strategy across the globe; however, little is known about the ways that service-learning is similar or different in varied contexts. Understanding service-learning and community engagement from diverse cultural perspectives will add insight necessary for comparative research and to improve practice.<\/p>\n
Proposals for conference presentations are now being accepted. To be considered, proposals must be received via electronic submission by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) Monday, March 22, 2010.<\/p>\n
