But it&#8217;s still creepy and amazing. <\/p>\n<p>And I learned a new word: this type of white blood cell is called a polymorphonuclear leukocyte, or, for short&#8230; a <em><strong>neutrophil<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>That is <em>so<\/em> cool! And it will be my new superhero name.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p> <em> In brightest day, in blackest night,<br \/> No bacterium shall escape my sight<br \/> Let those who worship microscopic evil,<br \/> Beware my power&#8230; NEUTROPHIL!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hmm, that needs work. But not now, for there are microorganisms to ingest!
