Governor is fielding questions about a 2005 arrest for domestic battery.<\/p>\n<p>Pawnbroker Scott Lee Cohen said he had gotten in a fight with his drunken girlfriend, but that he never hit her.<\/p>\n<p>However, court records tell a different story. <span id=\"more-16206\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The police report said Cohen supposedly put a knife to her throat and pushed her head against a wall.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Pat Quinn said he knew nothing about the abuse allegations against Scott Lee Cohen until after Tuesday&#8217;s election.<\/p>\n<p>While calling for Cohen to fully answer all questions about the charges, he predicted Cohen ultimately will have to drop out of the race.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think that will be the way it will go,&#8221; Quinn said at a news conference.<\/p>\n<p>In an unrelated incident, the woman had been charged with prostitution six months beforehand.
