It is amazing to read this WSJ post “Apple iPad: Analyst Tones Down Excitement over Device<\/a><\/strong>“,<\/p>\n

In a note entitled \u201cSeeing is Believing<\/strong>\u201d \u2014 their previous note was subtitled \u201cApple has Another Winner<\/strong> \u2014 Needham revised its original forecast of four million iPad sales<\/strong> in the year following the device\u2019s April launch. \u201cWe\u2019re now forecasting iPad sales of two million units <\/strong>in fiscal 2010 and six million in 2011. Our forecast assumes that over half of iPad sales come at the expense of the iPod touch.\u201d Needham analysts said they revised their call \u201cafter watching a replay of Apple\u2019s iPad introduction and reassessing the device\u2019s potential.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
