Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr has backed a growing campaign to save the job of an Aussie banker caught viewing risque shots of the dimpled-cheeked cutie on live TV, in footage that has become an Internet sensation.<\/p>\n

Here’s how our buddies at Complex.com<\/a> describe the events leading up to the firestorm: “Earlier this week, Australian banker David Kiely was caught perving on Miranda Kerr\u2019s GQ photos on his computer during a televised interview with a fellow analyst. In his defense, Kiely claims that he just happened to open an e-mail containing the photos and that it had been a set-up, citing the message, \u201cturn around now,\u201d at the end. Of course, the video is blasting on YouTube and the shamed bank is currently debating the future of their employee…..”<\/em><\/p>\n

Australia’s Top Model says she would be happy to sign a petition urging Macquarie Bank not to fire Kiely, who is under internal investigation after the incident this week.<\/p>\n

Kiely was shown clicking on semi-naked pictures of Kerr that debuted in the men’s interest mag last month –apparently unaware that a colleague behind him was being interviewed for about interest rates for Australia’s Seven Network.<\/p>\n

Video of the gaffe has generated over 2 million hits on YouTube and inspired several Facebook pages supporting the banker, as well as a popular “Save Dave” campaign by London-based business website hereisthecity.com.<\/p>\n

“I am told there is a petition to save his job and of course I would sign it,”<\/em> Miranda told reporters in Sydney on Thursday.<\/p>\n
