Tickets are $5 general admission or $2 for Pierce students, military personnel, and seniors. For tickets, call the Ticket Line at (253) 964-6710.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pierce.ctc.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/k2-mailer-front-216x300.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/>&quot;K2&quot; runs Feb. 17-20. Tickets are now available.<\/p>\n<p>\n Actors David de Rouen and Andrew Myrick have been training with the Tacoma and Seattle Mountaineers, learning the basics of mountain climbing and experiencing first-hand the thrills and fears of such a dangerous sport. The actors were able to climb an ice wall and feel what their characters may have felt in the play.<\/p>\n<p> \u0093The kinesthetic activity and professional training gave the actors a better understanding of what it\u0092s like to be a mountaineer,\u0094 explained Director Patrick Daugherty.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, one of the actors will be wearing the actual climbing gear worn by famed local climber Stan Engle when he summated Alaska\u0092s Mt. McKinley. Engle passed away in March, but his legacy in the local climbing community is profound.
